We were privileged to be asked if we would like to travel to Switzerland to be the photographers at the wedding of Jessica & Ollie.
A jewel of the Yverdon-les-Bains region in Switzerland, Romainmôtier’s Cluniac abbey church was built by Cluny monks in the 10th century. The wedding day also happened to fall on the hottest weather for the time of year and was not expected. With temperatures of nearly 100 degrees, we made sure we had plenty of water to drink. We were there for four days as we were booked to cover the day after when everyone who was lucky enough to stay met again for brunch.
The couple were welcoming and as part of our stay booked us a room near to the venue. On the day we were picked up by the best man Michael and driven to the abbey. We were so grateful to get to the abbey as the inside temperture was a coll 60 degrees which allowed us to acclimatise.

Throughout the day we captured so truly fabulous pictures while the whole wedding party enjoyed a fabulous service within the abbey. We recorded the sounds of the abbey and added them to our wedding showreel of the day. The guests after the service went out into the gardens under the blue sky nd extreme temperature utilising the shadow of the trees.
With gentle live music and a sip of champagne, we gathered Jessica and Ollie off to our chosen locations to capture the Bride and Groom’s individual shots. The location allowed us to capture perfect images throughout.
